Derek Lowe (ATL P)—Nice start for Lowe who went eight shutout innings in the Braves opener. Lowe gave up two hits, struck out four and did not give up a walk.

Carlos Zambrano (CHC P)—Zambrano went six innings for the opening day victory for the Cubbies.

Cole Hamels (Phi P)—Looks like Cole will get his first start on Friday against Colorado.  Hamels has been battling some sore elbow issues.

Dan Uggla (Flo 2B)—Uggla was scratched from the line up Monday due to tightness in his left calf.

B.J. Upton (TB OF)—If all goes well later this week in his Class A rehab in Charlotte, Upton could be back in the Rays lineup for their home opener on Apr. 13.
