The NBA All-Star Celebrity Weekend is always one of the more entertaining events during All-Star Weekend, and the 2013 edition should be no different.

According to Kurt Helin of ProBasketballTalk, the participants have recently been announced and there are quite a few intriguing names on the list.

Headlining this crop of celebrities is superstar sprinter and Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt. The 6’5” sprinter is regarded as the world’s fastest man, and it will be interesting to see how his athleticism transfers over to the hardwood.

Other celebs who will be in Houston to partake in the contest include the following (as per Helin): the 2012 MVP of this game and actor Kevin Hart; rapper Common; R&B singer Ne-Yo (who will perform at the All-Star Game); actor Nick Cannon; actor Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games); singer and actor Trey Songz; Arne Duncan (Secretary of Education); Terrence Jenkins (E! News); John Schriffen (ABC News Correspondent); Ryen Russillo (ESPN Host).

Aside from that, there are former NBA stars involved as well, including Dikembe Mutombo, Clyde Drexler and Sean Elliott, with WNBA notables Tamika Catchings and Maya Moore also getting in on the action.

Houston Rockets superstar James Harden will represent the host city as a coach, and going against him will be former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Russell Westbrook. Queen Latifah (singer and actress) and Samantha Harris (TV host) will be joining them as assistant coaches.

You can catch the action and find out how your favorite celebrities do come Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. ET, televised live on ESPN.
