The pride and joy of the Indians over the last 21/2 seasons has been the bullpen. Still, success is not maintained without constant vigilance.

The bullpen, to be honest, showed cracks after pitching the fourth-most innings (528.1) last year in the American League. After posting ERAs of 3.83 in 2010 and 3.71 in 2011, Tribe relievers finished last season at 3.99, the second-highest reading in the league.
