Suitland's Taivon Jacobs Signs with Maryland

The Maryland football team received a late and unexpected addition to its 2013 recruiting class Wednesday morning. Suitland wide receiver Taivon Jacobs, the younger brother of Terps’ rising sophomore Levern Jacobs, switched his commitment from Ohio State to Maryland at a mid-morning ceremony inside Suitland High School. Jacobs had originally committed to the Buckeyes on July 19, one day after whittling his list of double-digit suitors to Ohio State, Maryland and West Virginia, but made his pledge to the Terps official on Wednesday by signing his National Letter of Intent.
