Right-hander Eric Arnett, the Brewers' star-crossed first-round draft pick from 2009, will learn Wednesday if he has a torn ACL in his right knee that would sideline him for the entire season.

Brewers assistant general manager Gord Ash said Arnett, 25, was doing shuttle runs during a recent workout when he injured the knee. Arnett will be examined Wednesday by team physician William Raasch and if the ACL tear is confirmed, will have surgery Thursday.
