Harbaugh strongly suggests 49ers won't release Smith

On Sunday, ESPN reported the 49ers will attempt to trade quarterback Alex Smith in the offseason. Today, Jim Harbaugh did nothing to dispel that report. At his season-wrap-up press conference, Harbaugh was asked if the team would consider granting Smith his release.
