Jurickson Profar Will Not Play in World Baseball Classic

Jurickson Profar, ranked the No. 1 prospect in baseball by Baseball America magazine, has informed the Rangers that he will not play in the World Baseball Classic for the Netherlands.
Profar is a native of Curacao and thus has Dutch citizenship. He was on the Netherlands’ provisional roster released last month.
