K-State Associate Athletic Director to Help Lead College Football Playoff

Senior associate athletic director Reid Sigmon is leaving Kansas State to become chief financial officer for the new college football playoff and national championship game. Sigmon, who’s been at K-State for four years, will join Bowl Championship Series executive director Bill Hancock and chief operating office Michael Kelly beginning April 22 in Dallas. The new group will oversee the four-school playoff system, which begins in the 2014 season.
