Patrick Believes New Car, Clean Slate Will Help Her Transition to Sprint Cup

When Danica Patrick began her transition from IndyCar to NASCAR, she didn’t have any idea that her first year in Sprint Cup would coincide with the new version of the Cup car.
She planned that after two part-time and one full-time season in the Nationwide Series, she should make the transition to Cup, regardless of whether the Cup cars had new body styles or ones that had been around for 20 years.
