Even near the top of the Big Ten, No. 3 Michigan has been forced into an evolution.

Center Jordan Morgan's sprained ankle in the second minute nine days ago at Illinois -- and the mere 2 minutes he has played in the nearly three full games since -- has pushed along the development of backup centers Jon Horford and Mitch McGary.

They've played well in his place, giving coaches options entering tonight's home game against No. 10 Ohio State.
