Calipari Says Some Cats “Soft”

John Calipari was briefer than normal today in his pre-practice press conference. Said he had to hustle through practice to get players out for tests. I’d imagine keeping up with academics has been pretty brutal considering UK’s recent travel schedule (four of the Cats’ last five games have been on the road, including back-to-backs at Auburn/Alabama then Ole Miss/Texas A&M). Even in a shortened interview session, Calipari was typically quotable. He talked about UK being “soft” and what it takes to change (not exactly new themes this season, of course) and how these Cats have remained in flux, without an identity, all year.
