Now the championship battle ensues this Monday night, as the Tar Heels encounter Michigan State. Ironically, their last meeting was at Ford Field with the Tar Heels prevailing 98-63 back in December. However, Michigan State will not let lightning strike twice while using their home away from home mental attitude. The Spartans are no pushovers as they defeated the overall number one seed Louisville and top-seeded Connecticut, and as the number two seed will attempt to make it a charm while seeking revenge from their last meeting against top-seeded North Carolina. Both Michigan State coach Tom Izzo and North Carolina Coach Roy Williams are seeking their second national championship.
