Beyonce got a chance to perform at halftime of Super Bowl XLVII and did not disappoint.
While the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens were preparing for the second half, the actress/musical artist put together a great concert.
Some were nervous about the show following her lip-sync controversy from the Presidential Inauguration last week (via Washington Post). However, the performance went on without a hitch.

Beyonce might have too many hits to play a short show like this, but she did her best to sneak in as many songs as possible.
In all, she was able to get through eight different songs, including fan favorites like "Crazy in Love" and "Single Ladies."
However, the big moment was the Destiny's Child reunion, which featured "Bootylicious."
While there might be some questionable omissions, the fact that she was able to almost double the amount of songs of a normal halftime show is quite impressive.
While the stage design of the two faces (or a vase, depending on how you look at it) was a little weird, the rest of the set was amazing.
The peak was when Beyonce danced in front of herself. The graphics showed multiple versions of the singer and it created an interesting effect for the audience at home.
In addition, random lights and fires gave the show an added edge.
It is a very different experience watching Beyonce perform live compared to listening to a recorded album.
The singer spends little time actually singing. Instead she performs killer dance moves in front of a long list of background dancers.
Although she is very good at what she does, it is a very different experience from the bands who have performed in the past.
Expectations were not too high entering the Super Bowl, but Beyonce did everything she needed to do and more.
She silenced critics and likely gained new fans that were watching the game. In addition, she allowed the NFL to branch out to a younger audience, something that has been rare over the past few years.
Overall, she put together a great show and she should be proud of the performance.
