NFL Network & Deion Sanders Team Up for 'Leon Sandcastle' Super Bowl Commercial

Deion’s back, baby!

Well, at least for the NFL Network’s new Super Bowl commercial.

Former NFL great Deion Sanders dons a mustache and bushy afro in order to relive his glory days and make a full comeback into the NFL.

The NFL Network's TV spot depicts Sanders going to the NFL Scouting Combine disguised as “Leon Sandcastle.” Sanders does the whole bit—runs a “4.2” 40-yard dash, destroys the jump test and is drafted first overall by the Kansas City Chiefs.

It’s an interesting television spot and perfectly depicts the unrealistically self-confident mindset Deion “Primetime” Sanders has in his everyday life.

Jokes about Sanders’ new alias are already making the rounds on Twitter:

"Manti Te'o now telling his friends about when he played against Leon Sandcastle" (per @J680Anderson)

And some Kansas City Chief fans aren’t exactly vibing with their new draft pick.

However you feel about the commercial, I think we can all agree that there are teams out there (cough, Jets) who would probably trade up a pick or three to get Primetime on their squad.
