Gordon, a young female football player from Salt Lake City, Utah, caught the eye of the nation, as well as Goodell, after video of her emerged breaking tackles and scoring touchdowns in a local youth football league.
After spying the video, Goodell met Gordon and has since invited her to attend several games NFL games, including a New York Giants game this past December.
“[Goodell] thinks she is an inspirational story for football, youth football and the participation of girls in sports," said NFL spokesperson Greg Aiello (Per ESPN).
That’s a good connection to have, Gordon.
Just be careful, because if you keep running the ball like this you could end up with a scholarship somewhere.
And we all know how much the NCAA hates athletes with professional contacts.
