Manchester United were far from the busiest club in this January transfer window, but they've set themselves up for multiple players in the summer window.

With goalkeeping problems and some holes in the defense, there are many needs in Old Trafford at the moment but they also still have plenty of talent to win Premier League titles on a yearly basis.

Let's take a look at the players who will undoubtedly be reached out to by the Red Devils during the next transfer window.

Asmir Begovic, Stoke City

In a deal that nearly happened at the end of the January window, Manchester United are poised to land Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic according to a Daily Mail report Sunday.

Sir Alex Ferguson seems poised to land the goalkeeper for an £8 million fee in the next window, per the report. Either David De Gea or Anders Lindegaard would likely go in place of Begovic, who is 25 years old.

Stoke City are most likely looking to part ways with Begovic after signing Jack Butland from Birmingham on deadline day (per The Guardian).

Although, Butland isn't leaving until the summer window, so Begovic could still prove to the club that he can be the top goalkeeper.

There are a lot of moving parts in this one to keep an eye on.

Victor Wanyama, Celtic

Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama has long been linked to Manchester United before Wanyama told that he was out for the January window.

But don't think for a second that he's now out of the running for the future.

Wanyama likely needed more time with Celtic to continue his development as an elite midfielder, but he'll soon be up to par with the best of the best in the Premier League.

Already one of the better midfielders out there, Wanyama will become a great player for Manchester United if they lock him up this summer.

Ezequiel Garay, Benfica

Ezequiel Garay from Benfica was rumored in late January to be on the move to Manchester United (per Mirror), but talks seemed to have broken down at the end of the window.

Just like Wanyama, he'll likely be one of United's top prospects to look at in the summer as the Red Devils attempt to find long-term replacements for Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic in the centre-back position.

After a poor career at Real Madrid, Garay has returned to top form at Benfica and is turning into one of the best defenders in Europe. He is a likely candidate to be the next elite defender at Manchester United.
