The game as played at a blistering pace by both teams and it did get sloppy toward the end, but it was a a compelling finish.
One that saw the Celtics continue their stretch of dominance with Rondo.
And that about does it here for me.
Celtics took control of the game in the beginning and didn't let up until the end of the fourth. Clippers fought their way back, but it was too little, too late.

Paul. Pierce.
He drilled a fadeaway three with the shot-clock winding down. Does it get more clutch than him? I mean Matt Barnes couldn't have really defended that any better

Just 2.6 secons between shot and game clock and Clippers elect not to foul. Let's see how this goes.
Crawford with an offensive foul that could cost Clippers the game. Used his elbows to create some space. That's a no-no.

Eric Bledsoe drilling a huge shot of his own, and the Clippers just won't go away. This is crazy.

Jason Terry with a huge fadeaway to make it a two-possessio. It wasn't pretty; Celtics once again dribbled the shot clock down, but he was able to create enough space to make it hit the bottom of the net.

Clippers now have 20 turnovers themselves. Game has gotten sloppy as the pace has quickened. Both teams struggling to get open looks and/or turning the ball over in transition.
Celtics 101, Clippers 98 with 1:25 remaining in the fourth quarter
Celtics' defense overly porous at this point. They're not rotating well and leaving the corners almost wide-open. Ball-protection an issue right now too. They have turned the ball over 12 times in the second-half. Clippers are more than within striking distance.

Pace in the fourth quarter is blistering by both teams. Celtics and Clippers running, forcing each other to defend the break.

Garnett is back with the five fouls, Clippers still pushing the pace. Boston having trouble executing off high pick-and-rolls.

Celtics now playing the part of the clippers here. They're waiting too long for plays to develop. Ball-momvent is nonexistent and they're settling for jumpers instead of attacking the rim. Pierce needs to keep the ball moving. Can't hold it for as long as he has.
Celtics 100, Clippers 94 with 5:24 remaining in the fourth quarter
Celtics not getting back on defense as well here in the fourth. Clippers finally pushing the ball, forcing Boston to defend in transition, which the Celtics are not doing well.

Kevin Garnett just picked up what I consider an ill-advised technical. Your team's up 15(now 14) and now you have to sit with five fouls.
Not smart.

Every time it seems like Los Angeles is about to make a run, Boston comes up with a huge basket. Still up 13.

Los Angeles desperately needs someone not named Caron Butler, Blake Griffin or Eric Bledsoe to do something. Anything.

Green and Barbosa have provided the impetus off the bench.
Leandro Barbosa just hit a sick buzzer beater to end the third. Hung in the air for what seemed like forever before burying it free-throw line extended.
Clippers have cut into the lead a bit, but Boston still in control.

I feel like I say this at least once a game, but Jeff Green is playing well. He's hit some pretty shots in the third quarter.
Celtics 87, Clippers 73 with :50 seconds remaining in the third quarter
Just can't get over how well the Celtics are running. Coming in, you were worried Clippers were going to wear them out. It's been the other way around.
