TAMPA --
The nearly unstoppable Tampa Bay Lightning offense met the nearly immovable defense on Saturday.

Tampa Bay had its five-game winning streak stopped by the New York Rangers in a 3-2 loss in front of another announced sellout crowed of 19,204 at The Forum. The loss also snapped the Lightning's franchise record nine-game home winning steak, which dated back to the end of last season.
