The Shield established itself as a threat in the WWE. It's attacked nearly every top face wrestler while aligning itself with Paul Heyman and CM Punk.
However, The Shield has only been in one match. Its TLC victory over Team Hell No and Ryback left fans wanting more. After that match, it has still been doing the same thing over and over again: attacking other wrestlers. Its latest victim on Raw was Brad Maddox before John Cena, Sheamus and Ryback chased The Shield out of the ring.
Is the WWE committed enough to The Shield to not ruin it accidentally?
How could The Shield be ruined? It’s one thing to be overexposed, but The Shield is underexposed.
If you’ve seen its match and its work at NXT (or its independent work), you know it can wrestle. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins proved they are more than capable of putting on a great match. Roman Reigns can become a great WWE Superstar with his raw talent.
The Shield just needs to do one thing: wrestle more.
The attacks are becoming customary. It’s almost as if the audience is expecting The Shield to strike at a moment’s notice. It’s a fine ploy, but it won’t last in the long haul.
The WWE successfully established The Shield as a threat. Now, they need to build its credibility in the ring. The mainstream WWE audience has yet to see these three men wrestle. Their moment to start is now.

Ambrose and Rollins are great workers who can get some good matches from Cena and Sheamus. Reigns can have a slugfest with Ryback. These are confrontations the WWE Universe should want to see.
There’s not a better time to fully commit to The Shield. It can and will be a force in the WWE. It’s the moment for WWE to make The Shield more dangerous. The only way they can ruin this is by having it do the same thing repeatedly.
Don’t ruin it accidentally. Commit to The Shield.
