ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — While Jack Cooley was putting up the big numbers, Eric Atkins was biding his time. When it was Atkins' turn to take over, he thrived. Cooley scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, and Atkins sealed the deal in overtime as Notre Dame beat DePaul 79-71 on Saturday. The senior posted his 14th double-double of the season and his fifth straight game with 10 or more boards as the Fighting Irish (18-4, 6-4 Big East) won for the fourth time in five games.
