A freshman backup quarterback at the University of Texas has been arrested in Austin for public intoxication and carrying a fake driver's license.

Travis County Sheriff's Department spokesman Roger Wade says 19-year-old Connor Brewer was arrested by school police early Saturday. Wade says court documents indicate Brewer was booked into the county jail, appeared before a justice of the peace court and released about 11 hours later...
