Indiana 81, Michigan 73
Saturday night's Big Ten showdown between the Michigan Wolverines (20-2, 7-2) and Indiana Hoosiers (20-2, 8-1) had the perfect recipe for an Indiana win.
In front of a national audience and a spectacular crowd at Assembly Hall, the Hoosiers broke out to a fantastic start and never looked back.
Cody Zeller was the best player on the court for Tom Crean's team, registering 19 points and 10 rebounds.
The Wolverines did not give up without a fight, but they could not make enough shots to muster a comeback in the second half.
Trey Burke was the standout performer for the Wolverines, scoring a game-high 25 points.
The schedule does not get easier for either team in the next week. The Wolverines host Ohio State on Tuesday night at home, while the Hoosiers visit Illinois on Thursday night.
