Vikings' Jared Allen Has Shoulder Surgery, Should Be Ready for Camp

Chris Kluwe wasn't the only Minnesota Vikings player who underwent surgery on Thursday.
Two NFL sources said Pro Bowl end Jared Allen had the torn labrum in his left shoulder repaired. He is expected to be ready for training camp, sources said.
It wasn't immediately clear when Allen would be fully cleared. He usually doesn't participate in any voluntary workouts anyway, rejoining his teammates for the mandatory minicamp in June.
