Moussa Sissoko enjoyed an emphatic home debut for Newcastle United, scoring twice as Alan Pardew's men beat Chelsea 3-2 at St. James' Park.

The 23-year-old Sissoko, who was signed from Toulouse in January, struck his first to bring Newcastle level at 2-2 with 68 minutes gone—a clinical finish after Petr Cech could only parry a shot from Sissoko's fellow Frenchman, and fellow new arrival, Yoan Gouffran.

A thrilling game was there for the taking, and it was Sissoko who took it, beating Cech from the edge of the box at the death to send the Toon Army into hysteria and heap further misery on Rafa Benitez's Chelsea.

One Newcastle fan may come to regret letting his emotions get them better of him, after footage of his topless celebration in the stands went viral. Or maybe he'll be rightly proud.

Here are Sissoko's key stats, as per whoscored.comShots—6, shots on target—4, passes—33, key passes—3, pass accuracy—85 percent, touches—51.
