Aldo defeats Edgar by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47).

Round 5
Edgar is definitely more fresh than Aldo right now. He lands a leg kick, but Aldo goes back to his jab.
Aldo stuffs a takedown attempt with three minutes left in this fight. Edgar is more active here, though, and he lands multiple leg kicks.
Edgar turning up the pace as he lands a double jab, but Aldo blasts back with a straight right.
Aldo finishes the fight with a superman punch off of the fence, but Edgar's volume likely got the job done in the round.

Edgar is now the one landing leg kicks, but Aldo comes back with a spinning back kick. Aldo's jab has disappeared, and Edgar is pushing the pace.
Finally, Edgar is able to take Aldo to the ground, but Aldo springs back to his feet. Edgar lands knee to the champion's thighs against the cage.

Aldo continues to pick Edgar apart by controlling the distance, landing a front kick to the face. Edgar's nose is starting to pour blood from Aldo's jabs.
Edgar now landing leg kicks of his own. A nice uppercut also scores for the former lightweight champion.
After Aldo shrugs off a takedown, Edgar lands a straight right and kick to the body. Despite the strong finish the round, Edgar probably didn't do enough to take the frame on the scorecards, but he's closing the gap.

Round 2
A beautiful combination lands for Aldo. He's slipping everything and shrugging off Edgar's takedown attempts with ease.
Edgar eats a heavy leg kick, and the damage is already showing on his lead leg. Another leg kick sweeps Edgar to the ground momentarily.
One of the toughest guys in the sport, though, Edgar's pushing through and lands a right hand. The champion answers with a flying knee.
Another Aldo leg kick is countered with a right hand that sends the Brazilian to the ground, but the titleholder stands quickly. Aldo lands a couple stiff jabs to finish the round, but he may be starting to fade.

The champion is working his jab early and counters a kick with a straight right hand. Aldo is just pumping that jab out there and completely shutting down Edgar's advances.
A leg kick-jab combination scores for Aldo, whose striking appears to be way too much for Edgar in this first round.

The light heavyweights are still looking tentative in the final round despite the undoubtedly close scorecards.
Nogueira lands a stiff jab, but there's a break in the action due to an eye poke.
The pause seems to have put some spring back in Evans' step, but he's still not committing to combinations.
Nogueira shrugs off a takedown attempt and lands a kick to the body. Another Evans takedown attempt comes up short, and Nogueira lands a straight left hand.

Rashad Evans vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
Round 2
Nogueira looking more aggressive in the second round. He's starting to land his straight left with frequency.
For the most part, Evans is sitting back and eating the left hand of Nogueira in the round, and the Brazilian stuffs an Evans takedown with one minute left in the round.

The fighters feel each other out for the first couple minutes until Nogueira lands a straight left. Evans answers with a looping right hand in an uneventful round.
In the final minute of the frame, Evans scores an important takedown that should steal the round even though he holds Nogueira down only briefly.

Round 3
Silva lands some shots in close, and Overeem is covering up. The Brazilian presses forward and blasts Overeem with a huge right hand and then unloads.
Overeem is out cold. Massive upset that seriously shakes up the heavyweight division.

Silva lands a right hand, but Overeem tosses his opponent to the ground and lands in side control. Now from Silva's guard, Overeem is posturing up and landing heavy punches to the body.
After being allowed to stand up, Silva lands a knee, but Overeem responds with a stepping elbow at the horn.

Round 1
Overeem controlling the center of the cage and landing knees and punches against the cage. With his hands at his side, Overeem appears to be toying with Silva right now.
Although he's not blowing Silva out of the water here, Overeem is clearly fighting his fight rather than Silva's so far. He finishes the round with another knee to the body.

Maia defeats Fitch by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Round 3
Maia sticks to Fitch like glue and takes the fight back to the ground. Yet again, the Brazilian has Fitch's back.
Fitch escapes with three minutes left to make something happen, but Maia shoots in again. Fitch threatens with a guillotine choke and takes the top position. Maia frees himself and takes the American Kickboxing Academy product down with one minute left in the fight.
The Brazilian moves to mount to finish the fight on top.

Round 2
Fitch looking to keep his distance at the start of this round and is landing leg kicks, but Maia shoots in and scores another takedown. Fitch is able to escape this time, though.
Again, Maia drags Fitch to the ground one minute into the second stanza. Maia nearly locks up a rear-naked choke, but Fitch fights it off with two minutes left in the frame.
Maia continues to hold his position until the end of the round.
