The Canucks got revenge on the Blackhawks the best way they knew how: On the scoreboard.

In the first meeting between the teams since defenseman Duncan Keith injured the Canucks' Daniel Sedin with an elbow to the head late last season, Vancouver stuck to business and grinded out a 2-1 shootout victory in front of a crowd of 18,910 on Friday night at Rogers Arena.
