Sure, Rudy Gay’s mammoth salary over the next two years might cause the Toronto Raptors some problems over the next two years. Even if Gay recovers from his horrid start to the year in Memphis, his will not be the most efficient contract in the league.
On Friday night, it did not matter. During his first game as a Toronto Raptor, he was part of a concept that has been foreign to the Air Canada Centre crowd at most points this year: fun.
