I recently wrote two articles on "25 Ways to Tell if You're a _______ fan" on the Brewers and Cardinals fans. A vote determined the next team in the series, and it went to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

So, Pittsburgh, here is your list!

  1. The song "We are Family" is still stuck in your head.
  2. Your motto is "Losing is a disease".
  3. You constantly wonder how the Pirates and the Braves went completely different ways after being the NL's elite in the early 1990's.
  4. You actually think the Pierogies are cool.
  5. You know the names of each of the Pierogies.
  6. You have a son named Roberto or Willie.
  7. You are happy with a 65 win season. Anything above that is an added bonus.
  8. You only go to games to get a bobblehead.
  9. The Steelers receive your attention by mid-July.
  10. You have skipped school or work to go to a game.
  11. You have turned down free tickets to a game.
  12. You are still living in the '70's.
  13. After the first sweep of the season, you give up hope.
  14. You can actually name the Pirates' last five managers.
  15. You have a picture album full of photos taken of you on the Clemente Bridge.
  16. Jason Bay's departure was tragic to you.
  17. You think Nate McLouth's hair is gorgeous.
  18. You have left a Pirates game so you could watch the Steelers game.
  19. You have prayed for Honus Wagner to come back from the dead.
  20. You check Bleacher Report to read about anything positive about the Pirates.
  21. You think that you would be a better owner than the current ones.
  22. You wear a pirate eye patch to a game.
  23. You wear that eye patch so you only have to watch the action with one eye.
  24. You go to a game to see the opponents.
  25. You think that the Pirates are the best team in the world!
