David Beckham to Paris Saint-Germain: 4 Reasons Becks Chose PSG
David Beckham's move to Paris Saint-Germain was the biggest story of January transfer deadline day.
The 37-year-old Beckham—a free agent after running down his contract at L.A. Galaxy—signed a five-month deal at the affluent French club, which will see him compete for the Ligue 1 title and Champions League.
Paris is the latest, and surely last, stop on a glittering career that began at Manchester United before taking in spells at Real Madrid, Galaxy and Milan.
Beckham will be reunited with Carlo Ancelotti in Paris, who served as his coach during loan spells with AC Milan in Italy. He also knows PSG director of football Leonardo well from his time at the San Siro.
