Remember a while back, when Jonathan Lucroy was injured so George Kottaras and rookie Martin Maldonado stepped into the catching role full-time? Remember when Lucroy got back, we all agreed that we didn’t need three catchers on the roster? About that. The Milwaukee Brewers technically have zero – as in none – catchers on the roster going into Spring Training. That’s because Jonathan Lucroy was selected to play for Team USA, and Maldonado for Puerto Rico, in the World Baseball Classic.
