Bynum Gets Shots in Knees

Injured center Andrew Bynum was in New York on Thursday to receive two previously scheduled Synvisc injections from Dr. David Altchek, according to the team.
Bynum received the first set of shots in late September, right after he got a Sept. 15 plasma therapy injection in Germany.
A team spokesman said Bynum, who is recovering from bone bruises in both knees, is expected to return to rehab/workouts as soon as Sunday. There is still no timetable for his Sixers debut.
