Memphis and Georgia Keep Overlooking Oklahoma State Coach Travis Ford

Travis Ford started his rise as a Head Coach in Division 1 basketball at Eastern Kentucky University and excelled there leading them to their first NCAA Tournament Birth in my lifetime.  From there he went to UMass and did quite well there and progressed onto coaching Oklahoma State for the 2008-2009 season only to fall to the No. 1 seeded Pittsburgh in the NCAA Tournament.

Travis Ford was a point guard for one of Rick Pitino's Final Four Teams at Kentucky.  His experiences at the University of Kentucky under Coach Pitino seemed to have developed him into a quality game coach.  I won't pretend to know what his recruiting edge is. I just know his results and that's what people want is results.  So why not take a little more time and give Ford and his Blue Grass Roots basketball a little more consideration?
