LONDON -- Saying that no cycling era has been free from cheating, Lance Armstrong took issue with being made a scapegoat and called for an amnesty program to fix cycling's doping problem.

Speaking to Cyclingnews on Wednesday in the first extensive interview he has done since admitting to Oprah Winfrey that he was doping during his record seven Tour de France titles, Armstrong said his generation was no different than any others.
