Baseball's Dying Breed

Earlier this week we learned Nick Johnson and Brian Schneider have decided to hang up their spikes and retire from baseball. Both guys had long careers but neither was particularly memorable, though I suppose Johnson's drool-worthy on-base skills and continued injury problems stand out. More importantly, both players belonged to a dying and soon-to-be extinct breed: they were former Montreal Expos.
