After the last few seasons, Tigers fans had great memories of a team that would go under .500 for 25 plus seasons.
Finally, a bunch of young players who were never heard of before 2005, decided to step into the line up and rock the baseball nation, leading the Tigers to the world series.
Their headlines skyrocketed after aquiring Migual Cabera and Dontrelle Willis from the Florida Marlins. The Tigers recently gave Cabera a contract worth over 20 million dollars a year for seven years and I must agree, he is definitely worth it.
He's worth it, that is, if he performs to his last season potential. I don't know about Dontrelle: A few years back, he was a 20 game winner and would be called what baseball lingo terms an "ace".
Lately though, his target accuracy is off the charts...in a bad way. If Dontrelle doesn't hurry up and get his aim in control, the Tigers could be in for another disapointing year in the rotation...
