Blake Griffin pulled Eric Bledsoe aside at halftime of the Clippers' loss in Portland on Saturday and told the third-year guard he needed him to be more vocal on offense.

Bledsoe, the Clippers' point guard the last four games while star Chris Paul is out with a bruised right kneecap, promptly responded, according to Griffin, with eight points and sharp play in the third quarter. He also put together a five-assist, no-turnover game the next night in L.A...
