DETROIT – Darren Helm is learning that a back injury can be difficult to gauge, and frustrating to manage.
The cog that makes the Detroit Red Wings' third line go is dealing with lower-back some inflammation that will keep him idled until at least next week, but he's grateful that it's nothing more serious.
