A day has passed and yet little is known about Deon Mix’s decision to de-commit from Mississippi State on Sunday night.
Mix, a 6-foot-4, 315-pound offensive lineman from South Panola High School, surprised many when he announced on Facebook and Twitter he was no longer committed to MSU. Mix had been one of MSU’s most vocal and active committed players, often trying to convince other Mississippi prospects to join him in Starkville by signing binding letters of intent to MSU on Feb. 6.
