Action, comedy, drama is something involved in the world of sports.

It's also something involved in the world of movies.

Last year provided a multitude of storylines that deserve their own movie. Part of those storylines are the people involved in them.

Here's a look at 15 athletes who need their own movie and who should play them.

Note: Some athletes have two actors or actresses, depending on their situations. One for real and the other just for fun.

Manti Te'o

Actor: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson

Sure, I could have jumped on the bandwagon of making fun of Te'o, but it's getting old.

Regardless of the fake girlfriend situation, Te'o was a solid foundation for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

In the same sense, The Rock was a solid foundation for the WWE. But, he's also a pretty good actor.

Plus, when they come to the portion of Te'o's life dealing with the fake elbow, they can go with the revenge angle.

I'm thinking of having the movie show Te'o finding Timothy Burke and Jack Dickey of Deadspin, who first broke the story. A good people's elbow and a rock bottom would do the trick.

Lance Armstrong

Actor: Bradley Cooper

It's already been reported (via zapit.com) that Cooper won't play Armstrong in any movie.

However, I'm not sure that's the best move.

I can't think of anyone better suited to play that role.

Maybe we can all get some full truth out of a movie, since Armstrong still apparently can't tell the full truth. According to a 60 Minutes segment, U.S. Anti-Doping Agency CEO Travis Tygart said he didn't tell the truth.

Hopefully, it will happen and we can get an exciting actor to bring out the real truth.

Joe Paterno

Actor: Al Pacino

The reason for this is because it looks like it's actually going to happen.

According to reports, Pacino will play Paterno in a movie currently titled, Happy Valley.

The biggest question is will the movie address the Jerry Sandusky scandal? If it does, it should make for an interesting drama.

Since the reports are out, I guess there's no real need to go into too much detail.

Dwight Howard

Actor: Laurence Fishburne

Fishburne has a good ability to play multiple roles, whether it's drama, action or comedy.

That is the Dwight-Howard saga in a nutshell.

Whatever the situation is in the movie, Fishburne would have no problem getting into character.

Just for fun: Snooki

No, that is not a typo.

Snooki should play Howard in any movie mainly because of the drama that surrounds both.

Both are overpayed, spoiled brats, which makes them a perfect match.

Of course, the 27-inch height difference would make it hard to make this casting. But it would be hilarious to see Snooki (as Howard) snapping her fingers when Kobe Bryant gets in her (his) face in the locker room.

Lionel Messi

Actor: Mandy Patinkin

You might be thinking, "Who?"

For those who don't know who Patinkin is, allow me to use one of his quotes:

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

For those who have watched The Princess Bride, it is one of the more famous quotes of the movie.

In a movie based on Messi, I imagine something like this:

"My name is Lionel Messi. You scored a goal. Prepare for me to score two."

I can even imagine Patinkin's voice saying that.

Peyton Manning

Actor: Ryan Gosling

When I think of Peyton Manning, I think of the all-American guy who flat-out enjoys what he does.

When I think of Gosling, I think of the same thing.

Both have the charm to woo the ladies, but both are as tough as they come.

Gosling would be the perfect actor to play Manning, because any movie involving Manning would undoubtedly be a chick-flick.

And, what type of movies have been Gosling's most successful?

Adrian Peterson

Actor: Nick Cannon

When Adrian Peterson tore his ACL and MCL in 2011, the sports world hurt for him.

But, it's what he did in rehab and when he was on the field in 2012 that is the real story.

Peterson became the second-leading single-season rusher in NFL history and is widely considered the MVP favorite.

Cannon is an established actor with roles in Drumline and Underclassmen.

Although Cannon would have to bulk up in a big way to get near Peterson's size. They say the camera adds 10 pounds. Well, Cannon would need about 10 cameras on him then.

Sidney Crosby

Actor: Michael Mantenuto

Mantenuto is best known for his role as Jack O'Callahan in the movie Miracle. He would have to darken his hair a little to match Sidney Crosby's, but he could definitely fit.

Mantenuto has already proven that he can both skate and act, so it would be a good fit.

Plus, the drama that played out in the movie would be something that could be replicated in a movie about Crosby.

The character Mantenuto played dealt with an injury before the Olympics, which is something Crosby is on the tail end of recovering from.

Just for fun: Honey Boo Boo

Yes, this isn't another typo.

I put Crosby in the same class as a little girl by the way he always gets hurt, takes dives and whines in general.

When watching him, it's literally like watching a little girl.

So, who's the most famous little girl on television right now?

It's Honey Boo Boo, which makes these two like peanut butter and jelly.

LeBron James

Actor: Terry Crews

Crews would be the perfect person to play LeBron James in a movie.

Think to the movie The Longest Yard and the role Crews played a Cheeseburger Eddy. Now think to the scene on the basketball court when Eddy comes out of nowhere to block Adam Sandler's shot in a one-on-one game he wasn't a part of.

He then says, "It ain't easy being cheesy" and then bounces his pecks.

That would be hilarious to see in a movie about James. He comes from behind someone and blocks their shot, bouncing his pecks to the crowd.

It would make for a classic scene.

Titus Young

Actor: Charles Divins

For those who don't know Divins, he played Chad Harris-Crane on the soap opera Passions.

When reading up on the character of Harris-Crane, I noticed a lot going on in his personal and professional life.

For Young, that fits him exactly. There's a lot going on in his personal and professional life. Whether it's good or bad is still yet to be seen.

Just for fun: Captain Jack Sparrow

Now I'll admit I'm not the best judge of football talent in the world, but Young really has to be smoking something with his latest rounds of tweets.

Unhappy with his lack of getting the ball, Young embarked on a series of Twitter rants, with his latest really making you think he is crazy.

With that said, he better to play a psychotic football player, than someone that can really play the part.

Enter Captain Jack Sparrow, who is drunk half the time and doesn't know what he's talking about.

That's a familiar tone when Young describes himself.

Michael Phelps

Actor: Justin Bieber

My guess is that there will eventually be a movie made about Michael Phelps. And who better to play him than Bieber.

Both have those boyish looks and both are adored by millions of fans around the world.

Could you imagine the amount of money that would be made at the box office?

A film that stars Bieber about Phelps is certain to make a lot of money.

Jeremy Lin

Actor: Jimmy Tsai

Jeremy Lin has been one of the more interesting players in the NBA over the last year.

Most people don't know who Tsai is. Well, at least if they haven't seen the movie Ping Pong Playa.

Tsai plays Christoper 'C-Dub' Wang, an aspiring professional basketball player, who actually has no skills for the game. Through it all, he wins a ping-pong tournament, realizing what he's really good at.

I'm not saying Lin has no skill for the game, because it's obvious he does. I just think of some of the outrageous reactions C-Dub had in the movie.

He was a trash-talker in his matches and really degraded his opponents when he beat them.

I can only think of Lin doing the same thing, talking trash as people doubted him throughout.

For those who have seen the movie, they'll remember C-Dub wore a Rockets jersey. Ironic?

Tim Tebow

Actor: Kirk Cameron

There's no secret of Tim Tebow's faith. He showcases on the field and in his personal life.

Some people think it's overboard, while others love to see him stand for something he believes in.

Everyone remembers Kirk Cameron from the TV show Growing Pains. But for those who haven't seen any of his latest work, they're really missing out.

Cameron speaks out about his faith, just as much as Tebow does.

He's starred in the Left Behind trilogy, and most recently in Fireproof, a movie that deals with faith within a marriage.

What both showcase in their chosen profession and their personal lives makes them a perfect match.

Justin and B.J. Upton

Actors: Marlon and Shawn Wayans

When Justin Upton was traded to the Atlanta Braves last week to join his brother (B.J.), that made for a perfect movie starring the Wayans brothers.

Think of their roles in the movie White Chicks, but with a catchier title.

The two brothers playing on the same team is something they dreamed about for a long time.

The Wayans brothers have acted in multiple movies together and been a dynamic comedy combo.

With the Upton brothers be the same with more power and less comedy?
