Liverpool have already made some nice strides to expedite their rebuilding process and they shouldn't stop yet.

Aston Villa's Christian Benteke appears to be dangling, and the Reds look ready to go fishing.

According to The Mirror's Matt Law Tottenham, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are among the clubs that have shown interest in the striker.

With a deal for Philippe Coutinho in the works and the recent acquisition of Daniel Sturridge, the Reds are quickly reshaping their club.

Christian Benteke would be another nice step in that direction. The 22-year-old has burst on the scene this season with 11 goals in all competitions for Aston Villa.

The most impressive part about his performance this season, is that for the most part, Benteke has been creating chances for himself, and when he gets a chance, the forward rarely misses.

This ability gives him the potential to be a true game-changer.

He is not going to be cheap. He has been one of the lone bright spots for Aston Villa this year. He also arrived for £7 million, so the club is not going to just give him away, and they are in a position to spark a bidding war.

However, the Reds cannot let that deter them. They could pair Benteke with midfielder Coutinho, 20, and forward Sturridge, 23, and watch them blossom as the future of the club.

Coutinho has an innate ability to unlock a defense with his tricky and precise work. Give him a pair of creative forwards to work with like Sturridge and Benteke and defenses are going to be scrambling to keep up.

This would be an excellent foundation for the Reds.
