MLB Players Who Gained, Lost the Most This Offseason

The winter can be awfully kind to Major League Baseball players.

It’s a time when many players become set for life financially, as money tends to fall from the sky in baseball during the gray months. Other players get their stations in life improved in other ways, such as much-needed changes of scenery.

On the flip side, winter can also be cruel to ballplayers. Some players end up getting hurt financially, and the winter has also been known to bring unforeseen injuries and surgeries that put the coming season in jeopardy.

Both realities have played out this offseason. Some players have gained much. Others have lost much.

Myself and B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar got together to discuss the best and the brightest of those who have gained, and the worst and the downright unluckiest of those who have lost much. As they usually are, our ramblings were caught on video.
