NFL Honors Awards Roundtable: MVP, Rookies, Coach of the Year

Aaron Nagler@Aaron_NaglerNFL National Lead WriterJanuary 29, 2013

As we prepare to watch the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens battle here in New Orleans for the right to hoist the Lombardi Trophy and claim the mantle of World Champions, it's a perfect time to reflect on some of the amazing performances around the NFL during the 2012 regular season.

Whether it was amazing play at the quarterback position, from both young and old, or season-defining moves made by several NFL head coaches, this season was filled with award-worthy performances. Who will take home the major awards this Saturday when Alec Baldwin hosts the second annual "NFL Honors"?

While we may not have Baldwin, Matt Miller, Josh Zerkle and I do our best in the video above to break down who the winners should be.

Let us know in the comments below where you agree or disagree, and give us your picks for MVP, Offensive and Defensive Rookie and Coach of the Year.
