As crazy as it sounds, some people don't actually watch the Super Bowl for the game. Instead, they tune in for the amazing, hilarious and sometimes heartwarming Super Bowl ads.
2013 should be no different, with each sponsor showing up with the best that the advertising world has to offer on the biggest TV day of the year.
We all know the big hitters. Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi and Frito-Lay are sure to bring the heat, as they do every year.
But the big boys have had their grips slipping over the years, and this could be the year that an underdog sneaks in and takes away the best commercial award.
Expect big things from these sponsors this Super Bowl.
E*Trade unveiled its line of talking baby ads in 2008, and the United States was instantly hooked.
Since then, the online investment company has pulled out all the stops on Super Bowl Sunday, including this solid ad from last year:
These ads carry a comedic punch but also boast the perfect mix of charm and wit.
Marking the fifth-year anniversary of its talking baby campaign, it'll be interesting to see what kind of ad E*Trade can pull out this year.
Volkswagen has never been known as having the best Super Bowl commercial of the year, but that all changed two years ago when the German car company pulled out this gem:
That commercial had everything. It was funny, it was heartwarming, it satisfied our inner nerd and, most of all, it was a throwback to one of the greatest film franchises of all time.
With an underwhelming ad in 2012, it'll be great to see what Volkswagen has to get back to the top in 2013.
M&M is one of the most beloved candies across America. It only makes sense that Super Bowl Sunday is a huge day for the company.
