Johnson said he was excited to join the Rays and that while he has spent most of his time at second base, he was eager to help out however he can. "I'm open to anything,'' said. His reason for picking the Rays? "Opportunity,'' Johnson said. "It's always a good team, they're fun to watch, they're the type when you're on the other side you don't like playing them. I'm excited to be a part of it. I'm pumped.''
