Jay Cutler has been officially introduced as a Chicago Bear. Now the Bears need to find him someone to throw to, and New York has given the Bears the perfect opportunity to do so. Plaxico Burress has been released by the New York Giants and as a free agent is now in place for the Chicago Bears to come full circle.

Burress has been a monster of a wide receiver in New York for the past four years, with over 3,000 yards and over 30 touchdown catches. However, he has been a problem off the field, shooting himself this past year and ending his season very early.

The Chicago Bears have Devin Hester as their No. 1 guy. He had 665 yards receiving this past year and three touchdowns. Then there is Rashid Davis who in many different ways is a bust out of the Arena League as he has not put up the numbers they had hoped. The rookie form last year, Earl Bennet, has plenty of potential, especially being Cutler's favorite target back in college.

Jay Cutler has the protection that he needs with future Hall of Fame linemen Orlando Pace and Olin Kreutz, as well as Cutler's former college teammate Chris Williams. The only thing he needs now is a standout to catch the football, and Plaxico is that guy. He has been consistent on the field and is one of the main reasons the New York Giants not only made it to Super Bowl XLII but also why they won.

Go Bears!
