Johan Hedberg’s long wait is over.

The Devils goaltender will make his first start of the season Tuesday night against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden. Martin Brodeur started the Devils’ first four games of the season, going 3-0-1 with a 1.69 goals-against average, .932 save percentage and one shutout.
