Should the Boston Celtics Blow Up Their Roster?

Ethan Sherwood Strauss@SherwoodStraussNBA Lead WriterJanuary 27, 2013

The Boston Celtics beat the Miami Heat 100-98 in a double-overtime game on Sunday, but a dark cloud enveloped the victory. Rajon Rondo is out for the year with a torn ACL, as reported by ESPN.

What does this mean for the Celtics going forward? What should they do without their All-Star point guard?

Danny Ainge has looked to make bold moves with this aging team for years. The end of an era could come in a flurry of trades and a lottery selection.

This injury could be what spurs the Celtics forward into full-scale rebuilding mode.
