Freshman Anderson Leads Virginia over Boston College

CHARLOTTESVILLE — If Virginia finds itself on somebody’s basketball invitation list in March, the Cavaliers will look back fondly on an eight-day span in January. Taking the floor for the second time in just over 36 hours, the Cavaliers overcame a sluggish first-half performance Saturday and registered their third straight double-figure victory over an ACC foe. Virginia shot 77.3 percent from the field in the second half and pulled away for a 65-51 victory over Boston College at John Paul Jones Arena.
