This is considered a big recruiting weekend for the Iowa football team with several prospects taking official visits. It’s already paid dividends with a record-breaking cornerback committing to the Hawkeyes.
Detroit high school senior Desmond King committed to Iowa this weekend while visiting the University of Iowa campus, according to several online reports. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound King committed to Ball State in August, but decided to give Iowa a closer look.
