Much of Iowa State’s struggles offensively in its loss to Texas Tech on Wednesday could easily be attributed to a failure to move the ball. Time and again, the Cyclones came down the court and chucked up a shot early in the shot clock without so much as a pass or two. That led to 51 points, the fewest in a game during Fred Hoiberg’s nearly three-year tenure as the program’s coach.
